About Inga: Inga brings ten plus years of
personal yoga practice to her teaching endeavor. She completed her teacher training with Joyce Anue's YES Yoga Educational
Seminars in June of 2010 and is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. She is half way through
an Advance Studies/Teacher Training with Mark Horner focusing on Classical Hatha and Shadow Yoga. Inga
teaches beginning to intermediate Hatha yoga classes four times per week at Luminescence. Every class contains the basic foundations
for growing with your practice; joint warm-up's, grounding standing postures, stretching and postures for opening key areas;
feet, ankles, knees, hamstrings, hips, groins, waist, shoulders and neck, combined with basic breathing techniques for gaining
awareness and attentiveness. Yoga has a myriad of health benefits ranging from the physical
(lessen and/or manage pain, increase mobility, lower blood pressure, lower heart disease, lower cholesterol, relieve symptoms
of asthma, arthritis, MS and insomnia, and the list continues) to emotional (decrease stress, gain control over strong, erratic
emotions, increase self confidence, elevate mood, and more) to the psychological (anxiety and depression decrease, self acceptance
increase, attention, concentration and memory improves and more) to the esoteric (shedding the confines of the physical body
and making the connection with that centered place where your true nature resides). Building a yoga practice is similar to learning algebra or piano; you begin with the foundation and build from that
point. Practice and attentiveness are key in noticing the above positive benefits. Keeping in mind that we all bring to the
mat our life's culmination of our bodymind. Asana is a process of un-doing and it is not a linear progression. Inga welcomes you to try out a few of her classes to see if they are a good fit for you. Yoga is many things and
it is also definitely about relationships. Finding a teacher you can communicate with and trust is of utmost importance. Namaste.
